Foxes are intelligent, energetic, and deeply rewarding animals for the right keeper — and a poor fit for almost everyone else. We raise our kits on daily handling and structured enrichment so they arrive confident and socialized, but a fox is a lifelong commitment that demands space, patience, and legal groundwork before you ever join the list.

Is a fox right for you?

• Legality first. Foxes are banned or permit-restricted in many states and counties. Confirm you can legally own one at your exact address before contacting us.
• They are not dogs. Expect digging, scent-marking, and a strong prey drive. Enrichment and secure containment are non-negotiable.
• Space matters. A large, dig-proof outdoor enclosure with shade, shelter, and enrichment is the baseline, not a luxury.

How we raise them

Kits are pulled at the appropriate age, bottle-raised where needed, and handled daily. We introduce novel objects, textures, and gentle restraint early so the transition to your home is as smooth as possible.

Fox placements are limited and reviewed individually. Reach out with your location, enclosure plans, and experience, and we’ll walk you through the process honestly — including telling you if it isn’t the right fit.
